Privacy Statement

This is the privacy statement of SELO NORDIC. This statement applies to all information that SELO NORDIC processes from its website visitors (www.selo.dk) and (potential) customers. SELO NORDIC attaches great importance to the protection of privacy and handles the personal data collected with care. In this statement we explain which personal data we collect from website visitors and (potential) customers, how we collect this personal data and how long the personal data is kept. We also indicate what rights you have with respect to the personal data we collect from you.

 

1. WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE PROCESS AND WHY DO WE PROCESS IT?

– (Potential) customers
The processing of personal data of (potential) customers is necessary for us, for example to execute orders, to answer questions from a (potential) customer about our products and to carry out repair requests. To execute an agreement with a customer, we process contact data, company name, payment data, invoice data, ordered products and job data. Without this data, we may not be able to execute the agreement entered into with you or your company.

We also process from potential customers contact information, company name, position, phone number, email address, interests and personal data that may be contained in a question or message to us. We process this personal data on the basis of our legitimate interest. This is because we need this data for our proper normal business operations.

– Account
You can create an account on our website so that you can log in to your personal page. To do this, we process your name, e-mail address and password. We process this personal data based on our legitimate interest: this data is necessary for us in connection with the access security of our website.

– Newsletter subscription
In order to send you our newsletter by e-mail, we need your e-mail address. We may use your e-mail address for sending our newsletter, if you give us permission to do so.

– Contact form
The contact form allows you to ask us questions, make complaints and request additional information about our products and services. In doing so, we collect your name and e-mail address. You may also enter personal data yourself in the message you send us. We collect these personal data based on our legitimate interest. Without these data we cannot answer your question (properly). Furthermore, you can enter other data (without obligation): your company name and information about the products and/or services you are interested in. We process these data on the basis of your permission.

Withdrawal of Consent
If we base the processing of your personal data on your consent, you can easily withdraw this consent at any time by sending an e-mail to info@selo.com. However, the withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of your personal data prior to the withdrawal.

 

2. SECURITY OF YOUR DATA

As stated above, we attach great importance to the careful handling of personal data. This also includes careful security of the personal data we collect. Therefore, SELO BV has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the collected personal data.

 

3. HOW LONG WILL PERSONAL DATA BE KEPT?

Our basic principle is that we will retain your personal data no longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was originally collected. For example, if you delete your account or unsubscribe from our newsletter, we will delete the data collected for this purpose. We may deviate from this principle, for example, if a different retention period is prescribed under laws and regulations.
